Undergraduates, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars are invited to our winter 2018 session of This Is What a Scientist/Engineer Looks Like on February 28, 2018. This session focuses on “Navigating Effectively to STEM Internships and Research,” and provides insider knowledge directly from individuals who have made these successful professional transitions as well as dialogues covering Questions and Answers with invaluable campus contacts.

FEATURED SPEAKERS:

Nalini Venkatasubramanian, Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences

Anna Nierenberg, University of California Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellow, UCI School of Physical Sciences

Ericca Go, Undergraduate Computer Science Major and President of Women in Information and Computer Sciences, one of the largest campus professional organizations

Also, panelists representing: Office of Access and Inclusion, Division of Career Pathways, Office of Access and Inclusion, UCI Student Achievement Guided by Experience (SAGE) Program, and Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program

This forum is co-hosted by the Office of Inclusive Excellence, the California Institute for Telecommunications and Technology (CalIT2), and The Henry Samueli School of Engineering and the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences Office of Access and Inclusion.
