UC Irvine’s student government organization recently passed an anti-Israel boycott resolution, complete with BDS agitators peppering the debate with offensive comments—an all-too-common experience for Jewish students today. Tufts has subjected pro-Israel students to unprecedented harassment. Anti-Israel resolutions have no effect on university policy. What is their purpose other than to harass and marginalize Jewish students? What can be done about them? UCLA Professor and Daniel Pearl Foundation cofounder Judea Pearl, UCI Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Douglas Haynes, and Louis D. Brandeis Center President Alyza Lewin, and Jewish On Campus founder Julia Jassey join Edwin to explore.
