UCI faculty and staff are invited to the 2020 Diversity Affinity Groups Virtual Open House.
The open house will take place:

Come learn about the Diversity Affinity Groups at UCI. There will be breakout rooms for each organization listed below, and attendees are encouraged to move between breakout rooms to learn about the mission and activities for the organizations which interest them.
- Academic and Professional Women of UCI
- Asian American and Pacific Islander Staff Association
- Black Faculty and Staff Association
- Chican@/Latin@ Staff Association
- Faculty and Staff Veterans Association at UCI
- Iranian-American Faculty/Staff Association at UCI
- Staff and Faculty Pride Collective
- Women in Technology at UCI
Additionally, there will be separate breakout rooms for those interested in revitalizing the Native American Faculty and Staff Association or forming an employee group focused on disability issues.
The event is open to UCI faculty and staff. Please register in advance to receive a confirmation email with the Zoom information to join the open house.
Faculty and staff Diversity Affinity Groups foster cross-departmental social interaction, professional networking, cultural competencies, recruiting and mentoring. The Diversity Affinity Groups also serve as an outlet for faculty and staff to come together and fellowship with group members who share common cultural experiences while providing a space for members to engage in relevant discussions that are pertinent to the respective communities.
