Recently, UCI has received national accolades for doing the most for the American dream and facilitating social mobility for its students. The symposium will be an opportunity to hear from faculty experts, practitioners, and UCI students and alumni as to the importance of social mobility as a factor in defining student success in higher education, and how best colleges and universities can enhance the opportunities of upward social mobility for students across California in our state institutions.
