| Dear colleagues:
UCI has been working with the United Way’s “United to End Homelessness” Initiative over the past year to help find solutions to a critical local issue. The goal of the initiative is to develop and implement integrated and sustainable solutions to end homelessness in Orange County. I am pleased to invite you to participate in a class on homelessness to learn more about this local and national crisis and the factors that contribute to this growing problem. The class will provide you with an understanding of our community’s existing system to address homelessness, consider some of the causes of homelessness, and introduce new programs aimed at reducing the homeless population. This class is free and lunch will be provided. Space is limited so register early! HOMELESSNESS 101
