UCI Law is excited to bring together a community of justice-minded individuals for an in-person opportunity to learn and discuss current issues in public interest law. This year the MLK, Jr. Teach-In will be a reflection on all that vulnerable communities have dealt with during the past two pandemic years, as well as the efforts of community organizers and activists to address racism and inequality in the U.S. Panels will also look to the future of legal movements with discussions of civil rights, human rights and the rule of law.

The reception following the panels will bring together attendees in an outdoor setting to continue conversations about justice in our community and beyond.

MCLE credit will be available for members of the California Bar. Additional speakers are yet to be announced.

Parking passes must be purchased to park on campus. Public interest attorneys and others in need of a complimentary parking pass can email Jocelyn Campino jcampino@law.uci.edu to request a pass paid for by the UCI Law Pro Bono Program.

Maintaining the health and safety of our community is of the utmost priority. All individuals on campus will be required to wear a mask or face covering while indoors, regardless of vaccination status. More information on campus policies and protocols can be found here.
