1st Annual Queer, Trans, and Allies in the Biological Sciences (QTABS) Community Symposium to highlight the work of LGBTQIA+ trainees in STEM at UCI.
The event will include a poster session and keynote speaker (TBD). The symposium will be held on June 2, 2022 from 1:00-5:00 PM in the CNLM Courtyard and Herklotz Conference Room located on UCI Campus. A late lunch will be provided to all presenters and light refreshments will be provided for all in-person attendees. A virtual option will also be available for those who wish to attend the keynote but are unable to attend in person.
Poster presentations are open to all UCI trainees (i.e., post-baccalaureate fellows, graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, technicians). Cash prizes will be awarded to the top two trainee presenters, with one additional award for the best poster design. Poster submissions are due by May 23, 2022.
