The X in Latinx: A Conversation
with Professor Héctor Tobar

Wednesday, August 11, 2021
12 pm – 1 pm PT on Zoom

CLSA warmly invites you to a conversation with Professor Tobar on the origins of the term Latinx – why some embrace it, some reject it and some are simply confused by it. Whatever your position is on the label, one thing is true: our community is diverse and identity is complex. Together we can expand our knowledge on identity to better support each other and serve students at UCI.

Event format: 20-minute discussion followed by Q&A
