UCI Theater of Resilience: Live Comedy Shows May 16, 18, and 19

FREE ADMISSION, NO RESERVATIONS NEEDED. EVERYONE IS INVITED to our three live COMEDY shows, May 16, 18, and 19, at 7:30 p.m. (see locations below). Through the suspenseful delights of amateur live theater, written and performed by non-specialist UCI undergrads—alongside minoritized high-schoolers they’ve mentored over eighteen weeks—we consider the serious questions raised by the OIE Confronting Extremism Program.
Free admission and snacks, Thursday and Friday, May 18 and 19, 7:30 p.m., here on campus, Continuing Education Building, Yosemite Ballroom. ALSO pre-opening “road show,” Tuesday, May 16, hosted by the venerable community theater, Costa Mesa Playhouse (661 Hamilton St., Costa Mesa). The road show is “pay what you can,” as a courtesy to CMP’s loan of their theater to us and technical training to our students.
