Dear Campus Community,

Join us as we build community and have a conversation with activists and community organizers Bamby Salcedo and Jennicet Gutierrez about the work they have done against state violence that undocumented trans womxn face.  Their talk is centered around learning about transphobia, how it affects policy making, and how the trans communities resist and survive.  Attendees will learn how to become more involved and show support for this community.

The event will take place on Thursday, May 18 in the Dr. White Room, Cross-Cultural Center.  Doors open at 1:30 p.m.  The event will take place 2-3:30 p.m.  Light refreshments will be provided.  Please RSVP here!

Thank you!
