Year of Yoga at UCI Kicks Off With Yoga Express in the Park on Mondays this Fall

UCI Campus Recreation is proud to introduce: Year of Yoga, a fantastic opportunity for both experienced yogis and those who have always wanted to try yoga for the first time, to become part of the yoga community at UCI.  Year of Yoga programs are open to the entire UCI community and friends and will include classes at the ARC, monthly workshops, Yoga-in- the-Park Mondays, and several special yoga day festivities.

Yoga Express in the Park

12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.

UCI Campus, Aldrich Park (weather permitting)

FREE for ALL, No Registration Needed

 

On Mondays during Fall Quarter, Campus Recreation will be offering a very short combination of yoga and meditation. The Yoga will be just a few poses, to warm-up and relax the body, then a short meditation. In the Fall Quarter we’ll explore the themes of Acceptance, Gratitude, and Beneficence. The whole experience will be a less than a half hour so that you can move forward in higher spirits throughout the day.

 

Other Year of Yoga Events this Fall include ongoing FitSquad Yoga Classes, Good Morning Gratitude on November 2 and Joyful Yoga on December 7.
