Please join the Department of Chicano/Latino Studies for a professional development workshop entitled, “Critical Chicanx/Latinx Pedagogies” on Wed. Jan. 27, 3:30-5:00pm.
In this workshop, professors Anita Casavantes-Bradford & Alberto Morales will provide graduate students with a selected overview of scholarship and Chicanx/Latinx pedagogies, along with practical strategies for course design, instruction and assessment that focus on maximising the academic success and self-efficacy of Chicanx/Latinx, first generation and URM university students.
