AAPI Womxn in Leadership at UCI: Community Reflection and Discussion ♥

It’s been a particularly heavy two weeks and many of us are still processing the current events.  In response to the challenges we have and those that lie ahead, the AAPI Womxn in Leadership at UCI would like to invite you to a collective discussion on Friday, June 5th at 4pm PST to gather and reflect on the troubling actions taking place in our community. Between atrocities committed on the Black community, growing anti-Asian sentiment across the nation, Covid-19, there is so much to process and has been overwhelming to say the least.

A&PW of UCI are proud to support AAPI Womxn in Leadership as they create space to connect with one another to find community, engage in dialogue, build connectedness, and find a way to move forward to combat systemic racial inequity that has plagued our country since its founding.

Please consider joining us and forwarding this message to others who might be interested in gathering in solidarity. We are targeting staff and faculty to engage in discussion, as campus partners are finalizing programs to create space for students to process and heal.
