Thais Bouchereau
Associate Director, UCI Residential Life
Thais Bouchereau currently serves as an Associate Director of Residential Life at UCI, is an Executive Board member on UCI’s Black Faculty and Staff Association, serves as Co-Chair for UCI Student Housing’s Anti-Blackness Steering Committee and is one of two co-sponsors for the Academic Excellence Black Scholars House in Arroyo Vista Housing. She was the recipient of the 2018 Dynamic Womxn at UCI Spotlight award and circumnavigated the globe as the Living Learning Coordinator for Academic Success on the Fall 2011 Semester at Sea Voyage.
Dr. Thuy Vo Dang
Curator, Southeast Asian Archive; Research Librarian, Asian American Studies, UCI Libraries
Dr. Thuy Vo Dang is committed to advancing the practice of community-centered archives and foregrounding histories of marginalized communities. She has a Ph.D. in ethnic studies from UCSD and is co-author of the books, Vietnamese in Orange County and the forthcoming A People’s Guide to Orange County, a book about the lesser known places and people whose lives were shaped by struggles for power and belonging in this region.
