Black Lives Matter – Global Engagement Event: Perspectives from Africa, UK and China
UCI Office of Global Engagement is hosting a series of webinars this summer and in the coming academic year to address a number of timely immigration and international topics.
This webinar will explore Black Lives Matter, seen from global perspectives. The event will feature an African perspective from Professor Ousmane Sene of the West African Research Center in Senegal; a UK perspective from Professor Hakim Adi from University of Chichester; and a China perspective from Marketus Presswood, UCI History Ph.D. The event is intended as a resource for faculty, staff and students.
8-9 a.m. Pacific Time on Wednesday, July 22
The event will feature international and UCI leaders discussing the latest news about immigration issues affecting universities and answering your questions.
