Immigration Update Event: ICE Restrictions on International Students Taking Online Classes – Advocacy Efforts & Legal Challenges
UCI Office of Global Engagement is hosting a series of webinars this summer and in the coming academic year to address a number of timely immigration and international topics.
This week’s update will cover the new U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement guidelines that say international students must leave the U.S. if classes go online. The discussion will cover advocacy efforts and specific legal challenges. The event is intended as a resource for faculty, staff and students.
