Mentees and Mentors Matter!
JOIN US FOR AN INTERACTIVE STEMM EVENT ON MENTORING!
Students, faculty, and staff supporting student learning in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine (STEMM) all are invited to an interactive conversation on mentoring.
On this International Day of Women and Girls in STEM, our winter 2022 session of This Is What a Scientist/Engineer Looks Like highlights diversity and communications for mentoring excellence. The session provides the opportunities to hear from both sides of mentoring – experiences of mentees and mentors – and to join in interactive skill building activities based on training from the nationally recognized Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER).
Undergraduates and graduate students, as well as faculty and staff engaged in supporting STEMM students, will find the session and discussions about upcoming in-person training informative.
