Join us for a conversation with Dr. Sheefteh Khalili about her journey and learn about the foundational tools she credits for success in leadership and career advancement. Sheefteh will share her strategies for building meaningful relationships, encouraging empowerment and innovative thinking, and navigating the executive ranks where women remain outnumbered.
About the Speaker:
Sheefteh Khalili, Ph.D., is Chief of Staff to the Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs. In this role she leads the implementation of the strategic plan and vision for the Susan and Henry Samueli College of Health Sciences and UCI Health. Most recently, Sheefteh was in UCI’s Office of the Provost & Executive Vice Chancellor as Executive Director for Academic Planning, where she led the development and implementation of strategic campuswide projects and initiatives.
Sheefteh’s executive leadership career is rooted in the nonprofit sector, with over a dozen years of experience as CAO/CFO for CalEarth Institute – an international non-profit foundation and educational research center.
Sheefteh is a triple Anteater with a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in Sociology and also holds a M.A. in Ethnic Studies from SF State.
