Ana Nogales, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist, founder of Nogales Psychological Counseling, Inc., and Casa de la Familia, which she established for victims of trauma. She oversees a staff of bicultural-bilingual mental health professionals and an outreach program for domestic violence and sexual assault victim services in Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside Counties. Dr. Nogales uses many avenues of communication, including the media and is an award-winning author, playwright and songwriter about mental health issues.  Her play, “De Sabios y Locos, Todos Tenemos Un Poco” is currently being presented throughout Orange and Los Angeles Counties. Her newest book release is Latina Power: Using Your 7 Strengths to Say No to Abusive Relationships. Dr. Nogales is the newly appointed Chair of the Women Graduates-USA Violence Against Women Working Group.
