In 1977, 20,000 women and men from across the U.S. and the world gathered in Houston, Texas to define a national women’s agenda. A team of students, alumni and faculty from CSU Sacramento, UC Irvine and UCSD have been researching the 96 delegates and five alternates who were elected to represent the state of California at the National Women’s Conference. Join us to watch a one-hour documentary about the NWC and to discuss the significance of the conference.
