New study demonstrates the effectiveness of UCI Equity Advisor Model

UCI Works to ADVANCE Women in Higher Education:

Professor Judy Stepan-Norris and her co-author demonstrate that UCI out-performed other UC campuses in hiring women faculty during the study period (1993-2009). Professor Stepan-Norris shows that the Equity Advisor model together with greater transparency in the search process contributed to impressive hiring gains after 2001.
